The IBF heavyweight title owner, Anthony Joshua who is a world-class champion in boxing today definitely needs an equally world-class environment for his training. Therefore he has invested in a state-of-the-art boxing gym that is scheduled to open in London in January 2017.

Being London’s only boutique boxing facility, BXR gym is equipped with state-of-the-art accouterments including a full-size boxing ring, an in-house clinic with three treatment rooms, sound systems straight from the clubs in Ibiza and finally Joe & The Juice juice to quench the thirst of the people after the intense workout.  It seems like Anthony has definitely taken care of each aspect of boxing and has designed his project to perfection.

According to the great boxer, he started this project because he wanted other people to train like he does and it was his passion to accumulate world class equipment, all in one place. BXR gym is a live example of what he dreamt.

In one of the interviews, Joshua told the media that BXR gym has one of the best coaches in the world, efficient medical teams and equipment and the biggest ring, all brought together to offer training facilities to anyone who is passionate to join. He further added that his whole life had revolved around boxing and his training so far has given him the core knowledge of what equipment makes a boxing gym one of its kind. He is also highly grateful to the BXR team whose intense enthusiasm and determination made BXR something that London has never seen before. The young boxer patiently waits to start his session in a gym that stands in the heart of London and is about to attract a huge audience.

Joshua won his world title in April 2016 with a second round knockout when he was competing against Charles Martin. His first defense was made against Dominic Breazeale and he also won an Olympic gold medal in 2012. He is scheduled to return to the ring on 10th December 2016 in a match against Eric Molina in Manchester.
