Anthony Joshua will make his first title defense of his IBF Heavyweight championship against unbeaten boxer Dominic Breazeale on Saturday, 25 June 2016 at the O2 Arena, London UK. Matchroom has signed up Dillian Whyte who lost against Joshua last december and he will be fighting on the undercard while George Groves will be fighting Martin Murray for the WBA middleweight title on the same night making it one loaded undercard hense Sky will be broadcasting the night’s action via their PPV service “Sky Sports 5”
Anthony Joshua will headline the card against American Breazeale in the main-event but you can expect yet another one sided fight as Breazeale is no where near Joshua’s level even with his unbeaten record of 17 fights and 15 knockouts. His last fight was against Amir Mansoor where Breazeale lost every round and got knocked out but he won the fight only because Mansour bit his tongue and had to withdraw. But put aside Joshua vs Breazeale, Eddie Hearns is committed to put together a quality undercard worthy of PPV and this is how the night’s schedule is shaping up.
