German MotoGP Grand Prix 2016 At Sachsenring (15-16 July)

Jack Miller has won his very first MotoGP grand prix in Assen after a heavy storm forced a restart. Marc Marquez finished second while Valentino Rossi crashed out alongside Dani Pedrosa and several others in slippery conditions after the restart.  Jack Miller’s win was incredible but the weekend belongs to Marc Marquez who finished second and extended his lead at top of the championship as we move to Germany where next grand prix will take place in three weeks time.

After incredible scenes in TT Assen we had three new winners in Moto3, Moto2 and the MotoGP. Only Assen can produce such results which in all fairness were down to stormy/wet conditions.

Valentino Rossi will be disappointed after crashing out while leading the race after the restart. In just 12 lap race afte the restart he lead and looked like on his way to second consecutive win but just like several others he crashed out paving the way for Marquez to extend the lead.

As the things stand now, Marquez has built a massive lead at top of the championship table with Lorenzo and Rossi’s failure to snatch in points in Netherlands.

Marquez has 24 points lead at top of the championship table with 145 points while Jorge Lorenzo who finished 10th has 121 points to his name followed by people’s champions Valentino Rossi he crashed while leading the race in Assen has 103 points.

Dani Pedrosa just like Rossi failed to add in his points tally. As the things stand its hard to see either Yamaha rider getting the better of Marquez but stranger things has happen.

Netherlands MotoGP Grand Prix 2016 Results:
